Oh Yes… Things Really Do Just Happen

Namasté and Good day to you!

There are times when in our lives, things and situations happen to us.  While in the moment of those unfortunate times, we may not really understand what or why it is happening or has happened.  And it is true many times, that it really may not make the situations any easier to bear.  Nor maybe we just don’t comprehend.  This may very well lead us into a state of anger, resentment or even blame.  My dear friend, I know all too well how this can happen.  But I also know and believe that it is great time to go within and try not to find ourselves putting blame on one single person or even your own very being.  Reaching also within and finding peace instead of anger, blessings instead of resentment.  As we are in those moments and as we go within, we seek to find the true meaning of the event or situations.  We trust that Spirit has purpose of the actions that has taken or is taking place.  You see, it really may not even be about you or an attack on you.  However it may really be about how you will deal with it and learn to be humble about it.  Yes, of course this does not make it right or any easier to pass it off as not important.  The main thing here is to just not hold those angry thoughts, blames and resentments that creep up on us.  Dear one, things are just what they are and what they are is not as bad as other things in life.  Take those situations in which you don’t  understand and bless them as much a you know how.  Ask God/Spirit to guide you as well as those who may have inflicted such ill thoughts or destructive actions against you.  Again, as I have said many times, know that all is in Divine order and in absolute alignment with the Universe.  There is yet another moment just ahead, embrace it and know that the past is gone.  Do what needs to be done and let go and move forward.  Be humble and find peace.  Oh yes… things really do just happen.  But much bigger and exciting things happen when you are truly in sync with the Creator, that is a peace, happiness and most importantly… LOVE.  Have a Grand week and day!

With my Faith, Love and Magik

Blessed be you…

“A man who lives, not by what he loves but what he hates, is a sick man.”
~ Archibald MacLeish

A person I once knew would frequently watch evangelical television programs simply so he could fill himself with venom and lash out at the screen.  He would even shout at the evangelists who were preaching in front of him, “You are a bunch of phonies…”  Take down that phone number and website you greedy thieves.”  “You no good hypocrites, quit begging.”  … and on and on.  He exulted in his hatred.

Admittedly, this is somewhat of a mild if not an amusing example.  However an example nonetheless of the illness of hatred, the very kind of hatred that seem to drive some of people’s lives.  I believe that if we are not careful, we unwittingly can harbor up this hatred until it fills us up and takes control of us.  Then before we know it, we let it become our driving force.  Obviously, living like this is antithetical to a healthy and joyous life and serves only to abase the spirits of those so engaged.  As such, be vigilant therefore, and don’t let any hatred be the minister of your daily living.

When asked of the Jewish Rabbis to sum up their spiritual path, they simply replied, “Love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind and love thy neighbor as thyself.”  As we know, Jesus was one of the greatest teachers and Rabbis of all time, and when the same question was presented to him and what is the most important of his teachings, he humbly replied, “Love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind and love thy neighbor as thyself.”

“Divine Beloved, I come to you made new this fine winter morning, bathed in Your ever sweet Presence.  I am now learning to live by the wisdom of the rabbis, the teachers, the Great Ones like Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad, Zoroaster, Guru Nanak, Bahá’u’lláh and all the others who have truly realized their unity with you and with all mankind and claimed their son-ship and daughter-ship by living the mystery of Love itself.  And so it is.  Amen.”

Pain Is God Expression In Action

Namasté and Good day to you!

Pain. Wow what an intense word to start out with, but this word is so very important and has become a major part of our language.  How you deal with whatever pain you are feeling, is the key to overcoming what disturbs you.  In India, the wise ones has always said that if we are to overcome the pain, we must first go deep into it, acknowledge it and try to understand it the best we can rather than denying it and or covering it up.  In most cases the pain in which we may be feeling is a signal to us from our very own body to just pay attention that there is something wrong.  Maybe what we are doing is something different, changing or neglecting things in our lives.  My friend, take for instance the common headache most of us experience from time to time.  The majority of us turn to the very easy and most sought out remedy of taking an aspirin substance or some sort.  In reality, this really only covers it up and we then deny the truth of the problem or symptom.  Instead maybe we should first try to go within our very being and listen or try to understand what our body is trying to tell us.  So we must know by now that pain does come in many flavors and forms, such as physical and emotional.  So before you reach for a quick fix or remedy to just cover it up, take the time to try to find out first what it is that is causing it.  Maybe then we will be able to prevent it from happening again or even treat the current ailment by correcting what caused or is causing the pain.  I feel that no matter what kind of pain this is in our lives, just know that it is truly for a reason and our attitude and actions toward it is our most essential step to the healing process.  So think about this if you are feeling some sort of pain today or the next time you may encounter pain.  Don’t deny it.  Instead take the higher road and embrace it, bless it and feel within that this uneasiness that is hurting us is God expression in action.  Always know and believe that you are already whole, well and complete just as the Creator intended.  My dear sweet friend, have a good day!

Blessed be you…

“If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail.”
~ Abraham H. Maslow

A foolish rich man considers all his problems in terms of money.  He figures he can throw money at any problem and thereby solve it.  And most of his problems are of a financial nature because he sees life on these terms.

Life appears to be the puppet and he the puppeteer until he comes face-to-face with a problem that defies a monetary solution, a real human problem like disease, death, or the ending of a relationship.  Then he is at a loss; his money as worthless as paper, and his puppet unresponsive – a limp, wooden thing that can no longer be manipulated.

At such times, what he learns, and needs to learn, is a new perspective – another way of seeing and dealing with life and its many travails.  With new eyes he finds new meaning.

A magnificent angel guards the gate of the night and another the gate of the morning.  Before you go to sleep, call upon the angel of the night to assist you to retrospect your day, giving thanks for the wisdom obtained and the things in which you learned from the mistakes made.  Then upon your rising of the morning, call upon the angel of the day to help you remember that everything you do and every single thought you will think is an absolute act of service to many and a reflection and extension of God’s precious love.

So as you wake in the morning, take the time to reflect on your upcoming day, think of the vast opportunities that will present themselves before you to be of service in the little things as well as the larger.  With this in mind, think of the difference you will make with just a smile, and extra moment or a kind word spoken.  Call upon the angels to help you remember God/Spirit moment by moment, for this my friend is the greatest motivation to loving service.  Just spend a few minutes in centering prayer.

“O lord my god!  Assist Thy loved ones to be firm in Thy Faith, to walk in Thy ways, to be steadfast in Thy Cause.  Give them Thy grace to withstand the onslaught of self and passion, to follow the light of divine guidance.  Thou art the Powerful, the Gracious, the Self-Subsisting, the Bestower, the Compassionate, the Almighty, the All-Bountiful.”
